The Ohio SPCA is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We rely on donations and memberships in order to fight animal cruelty and save lives. Public support is urgently needed.

The Ohio SPCA operates a farm sanctuary on a 40 acre property in Pickaway County. Over 100 animals currently live on the farm sanctuary. Many of these animals will live out their lives on the farm due to their age, health concerns, or behavior issues.

The following items or services are needed now!

Monetary Donations
Rescue vehicles and trailers. We lack a pick-up truck to haul hay, straw, and wood for construction. A cargo van would work for smaller animals. We also need a horse and livestock trailer in good condition.
Someone with a bobcat willing to clean out barns – goat barn and run-ins. This would require approx. 4 hours of work.
We are currently relying on volunteers to use their vehicles. These vehicles are not always available for use and we can’t continue to expect volunteers to put high miles and the wear and tear that animal rescue and transport involves.

Other items needed:

6 ft. high dog kennels, panels with or without gates in good condition
fencing: welded wire (horse-safe, predator-proof, and/or goat fence)
Horse and goat fence panels
Wood posts, post hardware
dog and cat crates for transporting
Metal grain and pet food storage containers
dog collars, harnesses, and leashes
dog and cat toys – ropes, indestructible rubber
cat litter
cleaning supplies: bleach, laundry detergent, floor mops, buckets, paper towels, tarps – all sizes needed
ear cleaner (liquid or pads)
grooming supplies: clippers (sheep and pet) and blades, nail trimmers
Frontline Plus
carpenters and services of licensed electricians
wood – framing posts and boards for run-ins
hay/straw/sawdust/goat chow
Sheds and run-ins
We need the support of caring individuals and businesses.
